Ingredients
  1. 2 cups crushed cinnamon graham crackers
  2. 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  3. 1 1⁄4 cups heavy whipping cream
  4. 1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
  5. 1 large egg
  6. 1 large egg yolk
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 1⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
  9. Garnish: Honey-Glazed Pecans (recipe follows)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, stir together crushed graham crackers and melted butter until well combined. Press into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.
  2. Bake until golden brown, approximately 10 minutes. Let cool completely. Reduce oven to 250°.
  3. In a medium saucepan, heat cream and chocolate over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. 4. In a large bowl, gently whisk together egg and egg yolk. Gradually add chocolate, whisking constantly. Whisk in vanilla and salt. Pour filling into cooled crust.
  4. Bake until center is set, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 3 hours. Top with Honey- Glazed Pecans. Let cool completely before slicing. Cover and refrigerate up to 3 days.

  2. 1 teaspoon canola oil
  3. 1⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
  4. 1⁄3 cup honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. On a rimmed baking sheet, stir together pecans, canola oil, and salt until combined. Bake 7 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring honey to a boil over medium-high heat. Add pecans, stirring to coat. Cook 1 minute more; remove from heat. Let cool slightly. Spoon over tart.
