White Chocolate Gravy
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon plus 1½ teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- In a medium bowl, whisk together sugars and flour until smooth. Add cream, and whisk until combined and smooth. Transfer to a medium saucepan, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking constantly. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, whisking frequently, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and whisk in white chocolate, butter, and vanilla until chocolate is melted and combined.
