Caramel–Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1½ (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 6 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot caramel topping, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter with a mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add confectioners’ sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Add caramel and vanilla; beat at high speed for 1 minute. Use immediately.
