Waldorf Chicken Salad
 
Makes about 7 servings
Ingredients
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 cup chopped apple
  • 1 cup halved seedless red grapes
  • ¾ cup chopped toasted pecans
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup chopped red onion
  • Bibb lettuce
  • Assorted crackers, to serve
  • Garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, lemon zest, and pepper. Fold in chicken, apple, grapes, pecans, celery, and onion. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Stir before serving. Serve over lettuce with crackers. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
