Summer Tomato Salad
 
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
  • 3 medium heirloom tomatoes, each cut into 6 wedges
  • 1 (12-ounce) container multicolored grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 (12-ounce) container Campari tomatoes, quartered
  • ⅔ cup chopped white onion (about 1 small onion)
  • 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons torn fresh basil
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Garnish: fresh basil
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, balsamic vinegar, oil, basil, salt, and pepper, gently tossing to combine. Garnish with basil, if desired.
Notes

For the best flavor, serve the tomatoes at room temperature.
