Popcorn Snack Mix

Makes about 18 cups
Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 (1-ounce) packages ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag salted mixed nuts
  • 4 cups small saltine crackers
  • 4 cups crisp rice cereal squares
  • 3 cups oyster crackers
  • 3 cups flat pretzels
  • 4 cups popped popcorn
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 300°. Line 2 large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat. Whisk in ranch seasoning, paprika, and cumin until smooth and combined.
  3. In a large bowl, combine nuts, saltine crackers, cereal, oyster crackers, and pretzels.
  4. Pour butter mixture over nut mixture. Toss to coat everything very well. Divide mixture between prepared pans, and arrange in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, shaking pans every 15 minutes. Once everything has dried and crisped up, add everything to a large serving bowl or bowls. Toss with popcorn, and let cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
