Spiked Fruit Skewers
 
Ingredients
  • 4 cups assorted fruit
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • ½ cup honey
  • 12 (6-inch) skewers
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, toss together fruit, rum, and honey until combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 5 hours. (The longer the fruit soaks, the stronger the flavor.)
  2. Strain fruit, reserving rum for another use, and gently pat fruit dry. Thread fruit onto skewers as desired. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Notes
KITCHEN TIP
We used cubed kiwi, strawberry halves, cubed pineapple, blueberries, maraschino cherries, and mandarin orange sections.
