Makes about 36
Ingredients
- Batter
- 1 (4-ounce) bar bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- Crust
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- Toppings
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, letting excess extend over sides of pan; spray with cooking spray.
- For batter: In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate and butter on high in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 1 minute total). Let cool for 5 minutes. Whisk in granulated sugar and eggs.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture, whisking until smooth. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
- Bake just until set, about 20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Leave oven on.
- For crust: In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle onto brownies in pan. Using the bottom of a measuring cup, gently spread and press crust onto brownies.
- For toppings: Top crust with butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans. Drizzle with condensed milk.
- Bake until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely, and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container up to 3 days.
