Baked Brie with Pears

Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) round of Brie
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large pear, sliced
- 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons pear vinegar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- Gingersnaps
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Place Brie in an ovenproof dish. Bake until Brie is softened, 15 to 20 minutes.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add pear slices to butter. Cook until pears begin to turn translucent along edges, 2 to 3 minutes. Add brown sugar, vinegar, and salt to pan, stirring to combine. Cook until sauce begins to reduce, 2 to 3 minutes. Pour over hot Brie. Serve immediately with gingersnaps.
