Lemonade Ice Pops

Summer’s most refreshing beverage gets an icy makeover in these delicious popsicles. Add your favorite fresh fruit to mix up the flavors.

Lemonade Ice Pops
 
Makes about 10
Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 1¾ cups sugar
  • 1½ cups fresh lemon juice (from about 6 large lemons)
  • Thinly sliced fresh fruit (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water and sugar to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Let cool completely. Stir in lemon juice.
  2. Add a few fresh fruit slices (if using) in each mold. Fill ice pop molds with lemon mixture, filling to within ¼ inch of edge. Insert wooden ice pop sticks, and freeze overnight.
  3. Dip molds in warm water for a few seconds to help remove ice pops.
