Summer’s most refreshing beverage gets an icy makeover in these delicious popsicles. Add your favorite fresh fruit to mix up the flavors.
Lemonade Ice Pops
Makes about 10
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1¾ cups sugar
- 1½ cups fresh lemon juice (from about 6 large lemons)
- Thinly sliced fresh fruit (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water and sugar to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Let cool completely. Stir in lemon juice.
- Add a few fresh fruit slices (if using) in each mold. Fill ice pop molds with lemon mixture, filling to within ¼ inch of edge. Insert wooden ice pop sticks, and freeze overnight.
- Dip molds in warm water for a few seconds to help remove ice pops.
