Waldorf Chicken Salad
Makes about 7 servings
Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 1 cup chopped apple
- 1 cup halved seedless red grapes
- ¾ cup chopped toasted pecans
- ½ cup chopped celery
- ½ cup chopped red onion
- Bibb lettuce
- Assorted crackers, to serve
- Garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, lemon zest, and pepper. Fold in chicken, apple, grapes, pecans, celery, and onion. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Stir before serving. Serve over lettuce with crackers. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
