Smoked ribs are a tender, juicy, and smoky delight that melt in your mouth, leaving you wanting more with every bite.
Smoked Ribs

Ingredients
- 2 slabs of pork ribs (about 2½ to 3 pounds per slab)
- Barbecue rub
- 1 cup apple juice
- ½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 stick butter, cut into tablespoons
- Barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 225°.
- Season the ribs with your favorite barbecue rub.
- Place the ribs directly on the grill, cover, and cook for 3 hours. Remove and wrap in a loose foil boat.
- Drizzle apple juice over the top of ribs until it begins to pool. Sprinkle with brown sugar and place four pats of butter on each slab. Completely wrap ribs, and place back on the grill; cover and cook for 2 hours.
- Remove ribs from foil. Brush on your favorite barbecue sauce, and return directly to the grill, uncovered, for 1 hour. Serve with barbecue sauce.
